Studio Flyer 4U est un espace rack quatre avec compartiment ordinateur portable sur le dessus. Ils font aussi une version 2 U avec compartiment lap top qui est susceptible assez petit pour être utilisé comme bagage à main.
Celui-ci est définitivement trop grand pour continuer. Puis encore, il a serrure TSA, ce qui signifie que vous pouvez vérifier le verrouiller, et le CST peut fusil à travers elle et le verrouiller à nouveau.
Contrairement racks classiques où les portes sont maintenues en place les verrous mon celui-ci les verrous des portes en place ma façon de le couvercle qui recouvre le compartiment lap top (articulé d'un côté, verrouillée de l'autre).
Enlever la serrure, ou pour cette matière lorsque vous l'utilisez sans lap top, soulever la partie supérieure et enlever les portes.
Il est fait de plastique moulé et semble assez solide. Pèse moins de un rack en bois ordinaire, en particulier moins d'un rack à bois choc régulier de montage. Toutefois, il est encore assez lourde et vous pouvez obtenir au cours des 50 kg. franchise de bagages pour les voyages aériens rapides réel.
Inconvénients ... si vous vous en tenez rien qui a des poignées sur la plaque frontale de la porte ne se ferme pas. Les rails de rack ne sont pas autant en retrait que sur un support de choc et c'est un problème commun. Signifie que vous devrez faire un voyage à la quincaillerie pour acheter les écrous et boulons thew remplacer les poignées de l'unité efx et fixer la plaque de visage.
Aussi il n'ya pas moyen de sécuriser l'alimentation électrique sur le dos.
Et avant que j'oublie il ya la portée à travers les trous qui vous permettent de quitter le lap top connecté.
Je conseille vivement ce pour tout studio mobile ou DJ, si vous avez besoin d'un ordinateur portable et quelques-uns de montage en rack engins, tels que l'interface audio, etc .. c'est un must have.

Studio Flyer 4U is a four space rack with lap top compartment on top. They also make a 2 U version with lap top compartment that is likely small enough to be used as carry-on luggage.
This one is definitely too large for carry on. Then again it has TSA locks, meaning you can check it lock, and the TSA can rifle through it and lock it again.
Unlike conventional racks where the doors are held in place my the latches this one locks the doors into place my way of the lid that covers the lap top compartment (hinged on one side, latched on the other).
Take off the lock, or for that matter when you use it sans lap top, lift the top and take off the doors.
It's made out of molded plastic and seems sturdy enough. Weighs less than a regular wood rack, especially less than a regular shock mount wood rack. However it still is fairly heavy and you can get over the 50 lbs. baggage allowance for air travel real quick.
Downsides...if you stick anything in it that has handles on the face plate the door will not close. The rack rails aren't as far recessed as on a shock mount and this is a common problem. Means you will have to make a trip to the hardware store to buy nuts and bolts thew replace the efx unit's handles and secure the face plate again.
Also there is no way to secure the power supply on the back.
And before I forget there is reach through holes that let you leave the lap top connected.
