Please allow me to give you a quick update in relation the Model D.

Based on the recent input from our users here and other forums, we have decided to make some more modifications such as adding a modulation VR to allow you to control modulation also through hardware.

We like to clarify that any timeline for the delivery of the Model D has nothing to do with alleged component shortages as there are none.

We are now at board spin 3 and just released around 20 units which were sent to reputable synth experts such as Rob from www.rosensound.com and others to allow them to extensively test and also compare the unit with the original. We are making great progress and the feedback so far has been very positive.

We won't rush this project and instead take as much time it requires until our key users are 100% pleased with the result.

As of such there is no delivery date yet but we will announce it the moment we are getting close to the finishing line.

Some people have criticized us for showing early concepts and samples. However our philosophy has always been to listen to our customers and as you can see this customer centric approach has tremendously helped to include many of the features you requested.

We believe in "open innovation" and we will continue this path. In fact we are currently working on a forum that allows you to actively participate in the design and development of new products.
As I stated from the beginning, we're into synths for the long run and there are many exciting projects we are currently developing.
I hope you will join us on this exciting journey.

We have not set the price yet simply because we haven't finalized the overall cost which is heavily dependent on the latest BOM (Bill of Material) paired with projected sales and manufacturing quantities. And this all depends on overall market demand which so far has been very promising.

As some recall from my earlier post, unlike most other manufacturers we simply calculate the sales price "bottom up" which means the more we can lower manufacturing cost, the more savings we can pass on to you the customer.

Once we have all sales feedback from our partners and negotiated the component cost with our suppliers, we will be able to announce the final price.
Today, we are confident that the price will not exceed US$ 399 MAP.

Le problème avec les vidéos de Firechild c'est... sa musique...
Enfin, bon, c'est un avis personnel mais j'ai du mal à supporter plus de dix secondes, qu'il joue avec un CS80 ou un Schmidt...

C'est le son qui nous intéresse plus que les compos, on n'est pas une maison de disques :-D

Ben justement…. Le son on le saisit pas vraiment. C'est noyé dans des reverbs, compresseurs et effets en tout genre. Perso je retrouve pas le son Moog dont ce D semble s'inspirer (pourtant j'en ai bouffé du Moog). La basse est pas mauvaise mais je soupçonne des multi couches, le lead est quelconque et les quelques fx sonnent numérique et manquent cruellement de présence. Bref c'est pas vraiment ça mais vu le prix du rack faut pas non plus être trop pointilleux.
