She started off playing a Gretsch Broadkaster guitar -- kind of a reject guitar that can be difficult to find, but isn't terribly expensive (~$600) once you do find one. Then she also started playing a 1967 Fender Telecaster & a late 60s jaguar.
She's also played a basic Fender acoustic. Then she won the Mercury Prize and she got a bunch of new stuff -- Orange amps (forget getting this, they are ever so pricey), Firebird guitar, and a very obscure little Music Maker - like model, in addition to her usual
arsenal of Tele & Broadcaster.
For her recent show at Pianos in nyc she had a new electric acoustic, looks vintage, but the pix I've seen don't show enough detail for me to tell what it is.

She doesn't use computers to create her music. After her 4 or 8 track, she goes to the studio & her stuff gets dumped onto a bigger board, & then later gets manhandled by other processing by 'real' engineers.

She also uses a Yamaha QY20, which Tricky taught her about. Its outdated now.

She also had a new effect unit that she used for her voice on Letterman last night. Her guitar effects pedals are almost all
Boss (DS1, OS2, Tremolo) and she also uses an MXR Distortion + and a Line6 Delay Modeler.
