This is still an excellent and highly usable audio interface in 2026. It works perfectly and delivers the classic clean, transparent MOTU sound.
It was a flagship model in 2014 and one of the first interfaces with powerful onboard DSP, including high-quality mic preamps, compressor, and EQ on every channel.
Fully compatible with modern Macs using a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3/4 adapter (adapter not included).
