l idéale c est c d avoir, comme moi, le floor-board pour le piloté instantanément en rj 45 et en faire ce que vous voulez sauf du café XD.
les simu ne m interesse pas, je cherchais une approche du recto tant convoité dessus, je m en approche avec un petit plus.
En effet ce pod est equipé d une boucle d effet (send & return) et c est un détail a pas négligé. je lui ai plaqué dedant : noise gate, equa 10 bandes, chorus corona (et non corona virus ^^) et flashback delay, cest deja une toute autre planete.

pour faire simple, je l ai pousser dans ses retranchements et pour le coup exploité a 200%.
le gros point noir de la becane ? impossible de calibré la pedale de volume, de wha, et autre reverbe gate sur PC/MAC car malgré une fiche midi vers usb les drivers pour le pod pro ne sont plus disponible chez line 6 meme en 32 bits, hors je tourne sur du rog en 64 comme bcp de pc de nos jour, la loose.
juste pour ce micro detail (mais tellement important) je laisse un 4 sur 5. ce me pousse presque a le revendre car c est limite blasphème de la part de line 6 pour ceux qui l ont acheté meme 20 ans plus tard......Lire moins13

I am a little biased towards all things Line6 when it comes to effects units....not amps. I have used the POD live, POD rack mount, and the XT unit. There is a common operation that flows throughout the POD series that makes effect tweaking pretty smooth and effortlessly. Once I got the first POD unit which was the live rig I learned how Line 6 tailored their units. However, this unit flows more line there floor boxes such as the DL4 or FM4. This is the first edition ad the tone of these things haven't really changed at all from generation to generation. Just tweak-ability and functionality has changed.
The screen isn't going to be like regular PODs where it is mostly digital screen editing. You do have a solid screen but somewhat limited if you have use the POD Pro products. You will have to twist the knobs and look where you control is to know where your at. The new POD X3 conquers this issue and is more digital screen editing. Even though you have midi capability so if using with a Ground Control Pro or some other floor midi switcher you can set up your chain of effects and click your foot control for quick on the fly present changing.
UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY
I was using this with a Strat and a Les Paul into a Marshall JCM2000 into a vintage Marshall 4x12 with blackbacks. The effects such as delays and choruses sound fantastic! This is where I lived with this unit. Did not even bother with the amp sims. The range of delays, flangers, choruses give you most everything you will use in a recording or live situation. If you rely on mostly effects with your guitar sound then I would recommend then stepping up to an X3 or the POD Live units.
OVERALL OPINION
The thing I enjoyed most about this unit was the cool delay and flanger sounds. This is a unit I would use sparingly when I needed to color my natural amp tone with some delays or flanger. I would never use this to get an amp sim or sound that I did not normally have.
The is a great intro to the POD family. They run about $200 used and online give or take. For someone who does not use effects that much or someone who would like to get started in the effect tweaking arena who is on a budget I would highly recommend them to this product. You are going to get some great tones to add to your rig for well under what most companies charge for one stomp box.
I think Line 6 is one of the best if not the best companies out there who provide solid effect units for the all-in-one consumer who wants to keep things simple and clean. I would play this unit any day of the week. I don't use too much effects so something like this is perfect for me and it is perfect for home use!00- heads on fire

UTILIZATION
This was my first "serious" amp from Line 6. I used it with a Mosvalve power amp into a Marshall 412 cabinet, and it sounded pretty good. The settings are easy to edit, store, and access, it's not too hard to dial a good tone, and it is super easy to go direct out for recording purposes. Great features all the way around. I like how each function has a knob, so no screen is required. The manual is required reading due to all the ways this box can be set up, but it's not too deep to just dive in and get some good tones out of it.
SOUND QUALITY
This sounds pretty good. Not fantastic, but pretty good.. It sounds a bit better live than recorded, although the sound isn't bad. Newer models of Line 6 products and other companies have made giant strides in improving the sound quality of modeled amps, so I can't give this one top marks in comparison to those units. The effects are decent - the verbs and delays are nice - and the amp models are useable. The Treadplate sound is the go-to distorted sound on this rack unit, and the clean settings are pretty good.
OVERALL OPINION
I'm giving this an 8 overall. I like how simple it is to dial in a working, usable tone, and also how easy it is to route for direct in recording or straight to a PA. This is a little Swiss Army box, and if you can find one for cheap and have some extra cash lying around, this would make an excellent back up preamp to any rack system, just in case your main pre blows up. Also, this would make just a good all-around processor for a budget studio. This is certainly worth it if it can be found under $150.00

- donne très bien sur la basse (en tant que préamp'), quoiqu'il ne faille le dire?
- en stud', ne doit servir qu'à ce qu'il fait le mieux ; émuler des cabines (avec une nette prédisposition pour la grosse saturation)
AVIS GLOBAL
- 5 ans
- je n'ai jamais apprécié le "tout en un'' de type Boss, Zoom, et consorts ; il s'agit avt tout d'un appareil pour de gros accords
- Ce que je préfère, c'est d'approcher d'un Rectifier avec une souplesse pour accommoder le son
- Rapport qualité prix retrospectivement bon, très bon aujroud'hui d'occasion, mais j'orienterais plutôt le novice vers le Torpedo (français me semble-t-il), nettement au-dessus
- l'expérience : à voir selon la tête utilisée...
je procède souvent au moyen d'un préamp vintage, qui apporte un son clair bien meilleur. Ceci étant il remplit bien son rôle de préampli guitare s'il est bien situé dans la chaîne.
L'avis précédent me semble peu avisé, parce qu'il peut vraiment aboutir à bcp de sonorités différentes selon les set-ups, et qu'il semble bien robuste.
A DECONSEILLER A CEUX QUI CHERCHENT UN SON BLUES-ROCK CLASSIQUE VOIRE MËME UN SON ROCK BRITTISH : il s'agit d'un son tendant souvent rock bien "burné", lorgnant vers les west-coast, ou alors métal continental.
Son clair mauvais en sortie directe, mais je ne baisse pas la note à ce sujet, ce n'était pas ce que je cherchais.
La pratique me dit que mieux vaut chaîner les effets et surtout la compression AVANT lui, puis affiner.
En DI, face à l'instrument input de l'Avalon : bien meilleur, adapté à la guitare. Plutôt qu'adoucir avec de la lampe, des coupes claires sont à préférer.
Nécessite au moins une pédale de complément, pour ne pas être tributaire de la distortion des cabines d'amplis, et mieux moduler le son.
Acheté d'occasion rue de Douai ; ma connectique numérique "consumer grade'' ne marche pas : je l'ouvrirais lors de la prochiane sortie du rack.Lire moins20
