Bullriding your Speakers 2100 watts of tremendous bass power can change the life of a bass player... The Bad Bull sets a new world record in output power related to weight – 2100 watts at just 24 lbs are unique on the bass amp market. Yet that’s not all what is so special about this amp. The Bad Bull houses an all-tube preamp with a Magic Eye serving as a level meter, a six-band coil-based tone control circuit, and a tube compressor with gain and ratio controls. Due to the advanced manufacturing process and the enormous costs involved such high quality circuit designs are hard to find these days. The switchable EL 84 power amp tube proves itself an extraordinary ingredient to this great amp’s expressive nature. It adds that blazing roar of a saturated tube power amp, while the enormous force of the digital power amp section delivering 2100 watts of output power is capable of boosting your bass sound to almost unlimited volume with its level being indicated by another Magic Eye. The Bad Bull is a superb bass amp and can be really evil… Six Speakon® speaker outputs serve to spread the huge power of the Bad Bull along the speaker cabinets. A switchable crossover with adjustable crossover frequency has been included to drive an additional subwoofer or for a real bi-amped setup. One serial and one parallel effects loop – loop 1 with switchable high pass filter, -10 dB send PAD and return mix control – let you patch any external signal processing units. A novelty is the transformer balanced DI output which is equipped with the finest components available. You can even reverse the phase by 180 degrees in order to eliminate phase cancellations with the sound reinforcement system. Set to “Post” the DI signal even includes the EL 84 power tube, which for the first time offers the chance to send the sound of a real tube power amp to the PA system. A power tube speaker output delivering 4 watts, a power amp input per channel as well as a tuner out and a line out give proof to the fact that the Bad Bull has been designed to perfection and most likely is the best bass amp on the planet.
