Le corps et le manche sont en acajou, la touche en palissandre avec un radius de 12 pouces et elle embarque une paire de micros mini-humbucker. Voici le modèle signature Elliot Easton du groupe The Cars qui est spécial à bien des égards ! En effet les micros sont des Classic 57 et elle dispose de quatre mini-switchs permettant de splitter, de mettre en position hors-phase ou encore de passer le micro chevalet directement au jack. On notera également la présence d’un Bigsby ainsi qu’une belle livrée Gold Mist Poly. Celle-ci est une survivante qui a été réparée après de nombreuses fractures documentées sur notre dossier photo, elle est maintenant opérationnelle ! Vendue avec ses papiers dans son étui d’origine. Les fameuses Fender japonaises : des guitares aux bois bien sélectionnés et parfaitement assemblés ! Ce modèle type 54, made in Japan, reprend les caractéristiques du modèle originel de 1954 avec ceci-dit un corps au look beaucoup plus moderne fotoflame. La construction de cette SG Standard est classique : corps et manche en acajou, touche en palissandre au radius de 12 pouces, une paire de humbuckers : un doux 490R en position manche et un puissant 498T en chevalet. Mais... sa teinte l'est beaucoup moins ! Cet exemplaire Mod Collection, sans doute unique, est Candy Apple Red avec au dos de son manche une Stinger (peut être fait après sa sortie d'usine) inversée Alpine White, le tout complété par un cache électronique et un pickguard blancs.
