MS-88 is a bi-directional version of the MS-8 Master/Slave rack. While accepting all option cards designed for the MS-8, the MS-88 is able to encode/decode the EtherSound channels in either direction (up or downstream) on the single 100TX Cat5 cable in the bi-directional EtherSound setup.
- Automatic transmitter (master) or receiver (slave) configuration dependant on interface card fitted
- Assignable to transmit/receive in groups of 8 channel blocks from front panel or 'freeform' via software
- Internal, external or digital word clock with input & output on BNC
- 44.1kHz or 48kHz selectable
- RS232 port for external PC or 3rd party peripheral control
- Locking Neutrik® EtherCon RJ45 connectors
- Interface cards can be fitted to the front or rear depending on application
- Removable rack-mounting ears
