I love the XY. it sounds great, the master section (compressor, distortion etc) sounds excellent. the sequencer is very good (tho a few ommisions like not being able to move a sequence backwards or forwards by single steps like on elektrons I miss).

build quality is excellent. key action is lovely. the battery life is magical. it's swing is really groovy, so good.

the only things I miss are some more synth depth for sound design, more lfo's & envelopes, insert fx. stuff like that. I prefer elektron in that regard.

the lfo UI I find not very enjoyable to use. and having to enter the arranger to change patterns is not great for me. I'm so used to elektron workflow tho, it's so fast to change pattern.

it's a bit overpriced imo, but it's beautiful, and sounds great.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they may add in the future. hopefully a drum synth & some insert fx.
