(contenu en anglais)For the money it doesn't get much better than this amp. This amp comes just over the $1000 but pack quite a punch for the money. The tone from the 6505 is just geared towards rock, hard rock, and metal. This is just a brutal amp with tones of tone for any guitar player.

SOUNDS
This amp needs to be played with a humbucker pickup guitar such as a Gibson Les Paul or a Gibson Explorer. It needs that rock guitar for the gain style this amp produces. You can play any guitar single coil or humbucker but I think it sounds the best with the proper high gunner pickup.
The resonance and presence controls really enable this amp to do what you want with the the bottom end of the tone. The two controls are the key to this amp in my opinion.
OVERALL OPINION
At new these amps come in at around $600 which is a freaking steal of a price. You can get a lot for this kind of money but you sure can get a stellar sounding Peavey amp. I would recommend this amp to anyone needing to stay within a tight budget and needs a proper sounding metal or hard rock amp.00- kepingap

Tout ça délivre 60 vrais Watts (sous 16, 8 ou 4 Ohms), bien costaud dans 2 HP de 12.
On frôle les 40 Kg, assez lourd, les roulettes seront bienvenues par la suite (facile à monter sois-même).

Le canal clean sort des sons cristallins, que l'on peut pousser (via switch) afin de driver le son et obtenir un petit crunch bien agréable.
Le canal de satu est tout bonnement démentiel, gros son assuré !!! Le son est très typé, grosse disto "ricaine" au rendez-vous avec la patte Peavey.
L'ampli se positionne donc plus dans registre rock-métal mais on peut très vite se laisser surprendre par sa polyvalence, il marchera très bien en blues voir Jazz... si si !
SONORITÉS
Je joue principalement du rock, gros rock indus avec Gibson Les Paul, Strat', Musicman et cette ampli à bien trouvé sa place dans ce registre.
Le son est riche, avec beaucoup d'harmoniques, de bonne basse (le couple de 12 n'y est pas pour rien...) et des aigus qui ne vous font pas sifflez les oreilles après une demie heure d'utilisation...
J'ai donc été agréablement surpris par la qualité de ce combo, et surtout par sa polyvalence. Il a été utilisé un bon mois chez un guitariste jazz, soul, pour dépanner, et le monsieur à été conquis par la bête.
A noter qu'avec de bonne guitare, le son à la base est déjà bon, l'ampli lui ne fait qu'amplifier le signal et celui là le fait très bien ! Voilà ce que je cherchait.
AVIS GLOBAL
Je l'utilise toujours, depuis que je l'ai acquis, et je referais ce choix sans aucuns doute.
Le prix d'occasions est clairement abordable pour rentrer dans le monde du tout lampe, je pense que c'est un bon premier choix pour qui ne sait pas encore quel amplis tout lampe choisir.
Son défault est donc sa polyvalence avec un manque de personnalité...Lire moins11
