Petite annonce : Looking for a Drummer / Recherche batteur·euse – Dark Synthpop / Darkwave Project (Paris)

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

Je m’appelle Emir et je recherche actuellement un(e) batteur / batteuse pour mon projet musical à Paris.

Je viens de Turquie, mais je parle couramment français et anglais. Pour le moment, le projet est composé de moi-même, à la guitare, aux claviers et au chant, ainsi que de ma copine, qui assure les claviers et les chœurs.

Il s’agit avant tout de mon projet personnel de composition, et je recherche actuellement des musiciens afin de construire et développer sa version live.

Le projet se situe entre la dark synthpop, la darkwave, le post-punk et certaines influences industrielles.

Idéalement, je recherche quelqu’un entre 20 et 30 ans.

Si vous jouez également des claviers ou des synthétiseurs, ce serait un véritable atout compte tenu de l’esthétique du projet, sans que cela soit une obligation.

J’ai sorti le premier single du projet le mois dernier et je prévois de continuer à publier régulièrement de nouveaux morceaux. Le prochain titre devrait sortir fin juin ou début juillet, suivi d’un EP de plusieurs titres vers septembre.

L’objectif est de commencer à jouer sur scène rapidement. Dans un premier temps, le répertoire sera probablement composé d’un mélange de compositions originales et de reprises, puis les morceaux du projet prendront progressivement une place plus importante au fil des sorties.

Pour certains morceaux, notamment mes compositions originales, je prévois d’utiliser des backing tracks en live en raison du nombre de couches dans les arrangements, donc une expérience dans ce domaine serait un plus.

Parmi les principales influences et reprises envisagées :

• Depeche Mode
• New Order
• David Bowie
• Nine Inch Nails
• She Past Away

J’aimerais également intégrer occasionnellement quelques morceaux de rock psychédélique ou de synthpop turque, réarrangés dans l’esthétique du projet.

Hi everyone,

My name is Emir, and I’m currently looking for a drummer for my project in Paris.

I’m originally from Turkey, but I speak English and French fluently. At the moment, the project consists of myself, playing guitar, keyboards and vocals, and my girlfriend, who plays keyboards and sings backing vocals.

This is primarily my own songwriting project, and I’m currently looking for musicians to help build and develop its live version.

Musically, the project sits somewhere between dark synthpop, darkwave, post-punk and industrial-influenced electronic rock.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone between 20 and 30 years old.

If you also play keyboards or synthesizers, that would be a significant advantage given the nature of the project, though it is by no means a requirement.

I released the first single of the project last month and plan to continue releasing new material regularly. The next release is scheduled for late June / early July, followed by a small EP around September.

The goal is to start playing live as soon as possible. Initially, the setlist will likely combine original songs with covers, and as more original material is released, the focus will gradually shift toward my own compositions.

For some songs, especially my original compositions, I’m planning to use backing tracks live because of the number of layers in the arrangements, so any experience with that would be a plus.

I would also like to occasionally include a few Turkish psychedelic rock and synthpop songs, reinterpreted to fit the project’s sound.
