CB0 stands for CleanBoost with 0 dB of signal gain. CB0 works best with any instrument with high-output pickups like acoustics with built-in electronics, steel and slide as examples. Like all versions of PowerWire cables, the CB0 connects to your instrument closest to its signal source – the pickups, and carries the full frequency spectrum of sound down the cable to your pedals or amplifier. Like the CB6, the CB0’s signal is cleaner than a passive cable but contains no unwanted gain that would overdrive your instrument’s higher-output pickups.
