Be on the road and keep as close
As the clear headed minds of those
Who long for what they cannot keep.
Full house on the back of a pickup truck
With cosmic starving shiny eye
Where does the beauty of this movie lie
A thought my mind would never drop

Your lines I’ve read them
My mind has kept them
I won’t quit looking
I couldn’t bear
I’ll keep on sitting on that truck
And smell the lives under those hats
And listen to an old bop band
Till I howl with you in Rockland

I wish I could make people see
