Ibanez is really doing for their tube screamer overdrive distortion pedals. However they're also very well known for their very inexpensive guitars that are budget friendly to most musicians. Their guitars have a nice feel and overall a good balance for the money. They're not very expensive so they become very popular too many budgeted guitar players. This guitar features two hum pick ups a volume control knob and a tone control knob. Many of the Ibanez guitars have a tremolo system as far as a Floyd Rose. However this one does not feature the Floyd Rose which is very common in their guitars.

SOUNDS
I really like the tone of this guitar with the high gain amplifier such as a Mesa boogie or Marshall. This guitar does not bode well with a bluesy clean type tone. It's a guitar that really resonates with that nice woody vintage tone in anyway, but it is a players guitar and it's very comfortable play . These guitars have a nice warm tone primarily because of the mahogany body would that is used throughout instrument so the tone is good and it's very warm and resonant. Overall this is a fun guitar and you can find them pretty inexpensively.
OVERALL OPINION
At new you can find these guitars provide around $350 which is a great price for this instrument. If you're looking for a tremolo or a Floyd Rose and this is not the guitar for you. Ibanez does make plenty of guitars that feature to Floyd Rose with the active pickups so I would go that route if that is what you're seeking.
