Ftender has probably the most iconic instruments in the world. Their two most famous guitars has to be the Fender Telecaster and the Fender Stratocaster. These guitars have really stood the test of time in many ways. However Fender has branched off from their original designs and come up with some new modern features. This is one of those guitars that really feature a cool look for an iconic guitar. It really nixes some of the best features and qualities of both the Fender Telecaster and Fender Stratocaster instruments.

SOUNDS

One thing I really like about this guitar is the plush red paint job. One thing that really take into consideration is that you have a Fender Stratocaster body shape the pick guard resembles somewhat of your Fender Telecaster guitar. It's not quite exactly like a Fender Telecaster but it does have that simple design that doesn't cover the half side of the body of the guitar. Another thing is that the bridge is a Les Paul style fixed bridge. Many of the Fender Stratocaster guitars have a tremolo or floating bridge. One thing that sounds really good is the P90 pickups installed. You get two of them which really brings out a nice total characteristics that combine both the style of the Fender Stratocaster with the vintage tone of the P90 pickups. The control knobs on this guitar look somewhat different than what you would see on a normal Fender Stratocaster guitar. Generally you would see a three control knob configuration that goes kind diagonally across the body. This one looks more like something that Gibson would put out in many other SG or Les Paul guitars.

OVERALL OPINION

These axes are great alternative guitars to someone who loves the Fender tone and look but want something a little bit different. They really give you a great variety of tones to the guitar sound just as good as in your Fender Stratocaster guitar but they give you a different look that will really make you look different on stage as well having it sound different in the recording session. These instruments will be a little bit harder fine because Fender did it very limited run on them. But if you can find one at a decent price and I would say grab it because it could be a collectors item at one point in the future.
