La mod “Spur Wound” de MSM Workshop sur une Tube Screamer est une transformation assez poussée qui rend la pédale plus polyvalente et moderne : elle inclut un upgrade des composants, parfois un changement d’op-amp, et l’ajout de switches (bass boost, clipping) permettant de modifier profondément le caractère du drive. Résultat, on obtient plus de gain, des basses mieux présentes, un son plus ouvert et dynamique, pouvant aller du boost au drive soutenu voire presque fuzz. En contrepartie, elle s’éloigne du grain mid-hump compressé typique de la Tube Screamer d’origine, pour devenir une version plus large et flexible. Location, achat, vente, reprise, dépôt-vente.
