Hi everybody, I just wanted to share my opinion about the new 10mm ERGO ANVIL plectrum by luthier Patrick Hufschmid in Switzerland!

I'm a long time customer, bought my first Hufschmid pick back in 2013 and can not switch to a regular pick anymore because they are that good! I now own about 30 various models!
Talking about a fantastic investment, I bought a RED HUFTRON anvil (70euro) 3 years ago and the thing is still not showing any distinctive signs of wear!

To give you a little insight about what these picks are all about, Patrick builds them individually and entirly by hand in his very small workshop located in the basement of his small appartement. I went to visit him approx 15 months ago in Aigle and was very surprised to see for myself the work he was able to produce in such a restricted space (his workshop is like 5-6 square meters, that's it! The man is a very hard passionate worker, he spends at least 40mn time for building his basic plectrum model which I find to be completely crazy but he has a huge passion for his craft and wants his customers to feel and notice it when they receive something he built with his hands!

Patrick created those huge plectrums 7 years ago and seams to have influenced quite a few shady builders on internet who are now copying his original designs. I've also noticed that some of those people have no problem at all copying and pasting his webstore descriptions in thier own website in order to market and sell the cheap copies they are selling which kind of makes my blood boil so I thought I would mention this detail because plagia is just wrong especially when copying the work of a small individual artisan!

Back to the new pick, I suffer from tendinitis and these plectrums help me tremendously enjoying playing my guitars again, the pain is simply gone and I can spend house playing again and this is what these picks are all about, like Patrick writes in his item descriptions: "Economy of motion + more playing strength = less playing effort !"

This new ERGO ANVIL brings things to a new level and for some reason, you get the same benefits of the original ANVIL designs but with yet again more playing precision! The tip is pointed but glides on the strings like butter. I bought two fluorescent ERGO ANVIL picks 2 weeks ago and will be back for more in a few weeks, these things are magical!

Pictures are from Patrick's website, my photo skills are very bad sorry!
