The T-Rex Engineering Tremonti Phaser is an analog effects pedal designed for use with electric guitar. It has a 1/4 inch input and two 1/4 inch outputs and is powered by a 9 volt power supply. This piece of gear isn't rack mountable as it is a foot pedal.
UTILIZATION
Using the T-Rex Engineering Tremonti Phaser is an easy task and the parameters are easily seen and everything is laid out smartly. The pedal has parameters for level, rate, bite, and depth as well as a switch to choose between either a four or eight stage mode. I've never had any problems using this pedal exactly how I'd like to and I can't see anyone else having too much trouble with it. For this reason, the manual isn't necessary even though it is put together nicely and is easy to follow.
SOUND QUALITY
The sounds that you can get from the T-Rex Engineering Tremonti Phaser are varied and quite interesting. All of the sounds are pretty great and the best part about it is the amount of different sounds that you can get. I usually use the pedal with a Fender Strat and a '76 Fender Twin Reverb, so I get a pretty accurate read on how this pedal sounds. You can get phaser tones ranging from subtle sounds for rhythm and leads to really spacey sounds. All of the sounds are full sounding and professional even if you don't like the specific tones that you can get with this pedal.
OVERALL OPINION
I've been using the T-Rex Engineering Tremonti Phaser for about a year and a half or two years and it has become one of my favorite phaser pedals out there. The only downfall is the price as it will cost more than most phaser pedals. For this reason the Boss PH-3 is probably a better phaser in terms of bang for your buck, but this one definitely has a cleaner signal. If you need a nice phaser pedal that will give you a crystal clear sound, the T-Rex Engineering Tremonti Phaser is for you.
