Features are good. Personally I believe, all a dj needs to make a fair enough set is a cue button, a play button, a pitch control and maybe a loop in/loop out/reloop but these duals offer much more, including scratching, 5 controllable effects, +/- 4%/12%/24%/100% pitch control with master lock. 3 hot starts and FLY cue.

Price paid: 2000 Dirhams

Sound quality is OK, nothing GREAT! Compared to other models of pro cd players its not even close but compared to a normal household cd player its OK.

Very easy to figure out but the controls are too cramped on the surface.

Durability - Now THIS is where the gemini cfx-40's show their true colours. These were my first cd players so when i bought them, i was obviously THRILLED with the number of features and the cool looking blue display it had but after a few days i realised the response is a bit sluggish. After a few months to a year the buttons slowed down and sometimes if you press them, they'd simply DISOBEY you! This happened in the middle of sets while stuttering, etc and came to me as a HUGE embarassment. The left deck starts skipping after a while (only on the reloop button).

I dont love it very much to be honest! They were my first cd players but I started having affairs with other much hotter cd players like the Numark DCD Pro 1000s, Pioneer CDJ 1000s, etc.
