The Bomb Factory Sansamp PSA-1 amp simulator plug-in was easy to install without any problems. I haven't had any compatibility issues with either the Pro Tools LE or HD systems that I have run this on. The interface of the plug-in is easy to follow and simply has eight knobs that control different parameters. The parameters the knobs control are pre-amp level, buzz, punch, crunch, drive, low, high, and overall level. I don't have a manual for this, so I can't say how helpful it is or not, but the plug-in is easy to use and you shouldn't need the help of a manual to figure out this plug-in.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I am running the Bomb Factory Sansamp PSA-1 amp simulator mostly on a Mac Book Pro that has a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM. I run it in Pro Tools LE 7.4 that runs off of a Digi 002R audio interface. I have also run this plug-in on a Pro Tools HD system, and have never had any problems running the PSA-1 on either system. I am able to run a few of these at once without problem, and the plug-in has always run smoothly for me. Overall, the Sansamp PSA-1 is stable and won't give you too many problems, if any at all.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the Bomb Factory Sansamp PSA-1 amp simulator for about a year and have found it an overall useful plug-in for using with electric guitar and bass guitar signals. Sometimes simply putting the plug-in on an electric guitar track will clean up the signal and eliminate noise. It has a lot of parameters which makes it a versatile plug-in capable of getting a number of different sounds. The price is really cheap and is worth it as a simple amp simulator that comes in handy more than you might think. Overall, the Bomb Factory Sansamp PSA-1 plug-in is a great option for professionals and amateurs alike.

Le Bomb Factory Sansamp PSA-1 simulateur d'ampli plug-in a été facile à installer sans aucun problème. Je n'ai pas eu de problèmes de compatibilité avec soit le Pro Tools LE ou systèmes HD que j'ai exécuter sur. L'interface du plug-in est facile à suivre et a simplement huit boutons qui contrôlent les différents paramètres. Les paramètres de la commande boutons sont pré-ampli niveau, buzz, du punch, crunch, conduire, bas, haut, et le niveau global. Je n'ai pas un manuel pour cela, donc je ne peux pas dire combien il est utile ou non, mais le plug-in est facile à utiliser et vous ne devriez pas besoin de l'aide d'un manuel pour comprendre ce plug-in .

J'ai été en utilisant le simulateur de Bomb Factory Sansamp PSA-1 ampli pour environ un an et ont constaté qu'il était utile de l'ensemble de plug-in pour l'utilisation avec la guitare électrique et les signaux de guitare basse. Parfois, simplement en mettant le plug-in sur une piste de guitare électrique va nettoyer le signal et d'éliminer le bruit. Il a beaucoup de paramètres qui en fait un plug-in polyvalent, capable d'obtenir un certain nombre de sons différents. Le prix est vraiment bon marché et vaut-elle comme un simulateur d'ampli simple qui vient en plus pratique que vous pourriez penser. Globalement, le Sansamp Bomb Factory PSA-1 plug-in est une excellente option pour les professionnels et amateurs.
