I like the fact that its pattern based sequencing. Reason doesn't have that, but im not 100% sure about it. Buy some VSTs becuase most of the ones that come with it arn't that useful (for me atleast) except for Sytrus, 3xOsc, FL Keys and Slayer. Also, you don't need to buy expensive hardware like a MPC or some shit. Just dig deeper into it and you'll come to realize that its better than any MPC. If you want the MPC "feel", get a Akai MPD16 its only $150 Oh ya make sure your soundcard supports ASIO after u get the MPD16. If it doesn't then look for the site to download it on Google lol.

Good for a beginer, excellent for a pro.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Depending on the samples you use and the FX knowledge you have, you can make a perfectly well sounding track. Shit maybe even better soundin' than DJ Tomp lol... his shit sounds nice.
Depending on your computer... I got a AMD +2200XP @ 1.8 GHz 256MB RAM with a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 sound card. My PCs not bad but I can still hear pops b/c my CPU gets high when I insert 3-4 synths/vsts.
OVERALL OPINION
CHEAP AND BETTER THAN A F***IN' MPC!!!
