"Native Instruments has been selling the Pro-53, an emulation of the Prophet-5, for years, so I decided a good “In Use” section would compare and contrast it with Arturia’s effort. I set up the two side by side and tried to emulate an Arturia P5 patch as closely as possible with the Pro-53. Since Native’s Pro-53 won’t load sys-ex data from P5, I visually matched knob settings onscreen, as closely as I could.

Overall, Arturia’s version had a somewhat richer sound, and there are some functional differences. For example, Pro-53 has a velocity switch, whereas you can only apply velocity to Arturia P5 using the matrix modulation option available in hybrid mode. They had different “sonic signatures,” and my own preference was for Arturia’s. Frankly, though, either one lets you create excellent-sounding subtractive synth patches."

de mon, côté je n'ai pas pu comparer les deux, le prophet V d'arturia necéssite pas mal de cpu, à l'inverse du pro-53, mais semble légèrement supérieur au niveau du son (légèrement), (celà reste à prouver)

j'aimerai qu'un membre d'audiofanzine est pu comparer les 2 !
(l'arturia prophet V propose 3 synthés en 1: un prophet 5, un prophet vs, un prophet hybrid: une invention d'arturia: synthèse des 2 synthés (p 5+ p vs)

j'aimerai que l'on puisse comparer le prophet 5 d'arturia avec le pro-53 de native,
