The MXR DC Brick DCB10 is a box for powering up your pedals. As you can probably tell, it is designed for those who have a lot of pedals that they need powered up at once. It can power up to ten pedals at once - 7 nine volt pedals, and three 18 volt pedals. It comes with an 18 volt power supply that is the only thing you will need to plug into the wall. It isn't rack mountable in anyway as it is in the form of a box.
Using the MXR DC Brick DCB10 is incredibly simple. Users shouldn't have a problem hooking up their pedals to this, as it is just about as self explanatory as it gets. Simply plug your pedals into the DCB10, according to the proper voltage and you're good to go. A manual isn't necessary to set this up at all...
The MXR DC Brick DCB10 doesn't actually make any sound of its own, which is a very good thing when it comes to power supplies like this as you definitely don't want it to add any of its own noise! I have found the unit to be quite clean and as long as you have hooked up your pedals to the proper voltage and all that, you should be fine in terms of any extraneous noise.
My only complaint about the MXR DC Brick DCB10 is the price. While it isn't exorbitantly expensive, when compared to some of the other multi-pedal power supplies like those made by Boss and Visual Sound, this does seem a bit costly. However, it does have the ability to power up more pedals than those do, but I wouldn't say that it is worth the price difference. The other feature you get with the DCB10 over the other ones is that it has the built in ability to power pedals of different voltages. If you need a device to power up your pedal board, absolutely consider the MXR DC Brick DCB10, but don't forget to also check out the Visual Sound One Spot and daisy chain, as well as the Boss daisy chain.
