Just an absolutely stellar amplifier! Peavey has really grown on me over the last few years. The have taken a solid core metal tone and have expanding on it to include such things as amp modelers such as this one.
A great thing about this amp is that you can go for the silent mode with headphones or even record out with the same output.
Being able to bank 12 presets is remarkable in an amp modeler. Most amp modelers have just a couple presets to save to. This one allows you to save them and then recall them by toggling the bank buttons.

SOUNDS
One awesome thing about this amp is that ever amp model have a clean and dirty sound to it just by hitting the main button. SO you have have the amp on the Fender clean and then hit the knob again and have it overdriving. So it really makes those 24 amps become another 24 voicings.
I really like this amp with a Gibson Les Paul or another humbucking style guitar. Many of the amp models are classic Peavey high gain amps so it is fitting to go with a heavy rock style guitar and pickup.
OVERALL OPINION
At new these units come in at around $200, which is just an absolute steal in my opinion. This amp is so versatile and full of tone that it makes me think about love Peavey even more. The classic 6505 tone is available in this amp and many other classic Peavey tones.
I would highly recommend this amp to any Peavey fan or someone who is on a budget and needs a solid practice amp or home jamming amp and doesn't want to break the bank. I would love to hear how this things sounds when recording with it?
