UTILIZATION

Super super simple amp, don't look for blinking lights or lots of knobs, simple and too the point TONE.

SOUNDS

I owned this amp for about 6 months and used it mainly with a strat and les paul copy (stock pups in the strat and Seymour Duncan's in the LP)
I used it mainly with the strat and with the strat this things ROCKED. It was hands down the best practice amp for anything clean I've ever played, its beautiful and the Jensen speaker really helps with the things that I personally think plagued the original versions (boxy and too middy). with the "gain' high it does a great Joe Walsh or Eagles impression and with the gain lower and set super clean with the neck pup of my strat and some delay it did U2 in spades. I used to set it with the gain at about noon and would run a boost (like a TS9) and it would do great for small worship gigs and for studio stuff.

for anything heavy you'll pretty much never get that and don't expect it to, I wouldn't think you'd buy it for heavniess, but for cleans you'll never lose, its one of my favorite amps for that kind of sound.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, I really love this amp, and if you want SRV, Joe Walsh, Layla era Clapton or U2 sounds you can't go wrong, but its a one trick pony, albeit a very good trick, just don't expect anything other than cleans and very low gain out of it. If you go in knowing that I'd say buy it now and don't look back.
