C'est un modèle plutôt rare (les fretless 5 cordes ne courent pas les rues) du fameux luthier français James Trussart, de type Jazz Bass, doté de très belles finitions (manche érable pommelé, corps érable flammé, touche ébène lignée...). Le manche est comme neuf, quant au corps, il l'est aussi, mis à part une marque sur l'intérieur de la "corne". Elle est en outre dotée d'un circuit actif, d'un micro Jazz Bass EMG et de deux Précision EMG.

UTILISATION

Super manche, très confortable et facile à jouer. La touche est lignée, ce qui offre précision et aisance, même pour quelqu'un qui serait peu familier des basses fretless

SONORITÉS

Un son très chaud, mais précis, qui convient autant au jazz-rock qu'au jazz. Pastorius n'est pas loin... Je l'ai essayée sur mon Ampeg SWR : gros son assuré !

AVIS GLOBAL

Je l'ai achetée il y a 8 ans. Sa valeur à neuf était de 2000€. C'est un instrument magnifique, tant à l'oeil qu'à l'oreille.
Je l'ai très peu jouée car étant moi-même gaucher, il m'est impossible de l'utiliser autrement qu'assis ! Je souhaite la céder au prix de 1200€, ce qui me paraît un prix plus qu'honnête vu le très bon rapport qualité - prix de l'instrument.
