(contenu en anglais)Just an absolute novel idea. Mesa Boogie is one of the leading guitar and bass amp manufacturers in the world. They have build high quality and custom made units since the 70's. They have built a reputation for being an industry standard in quality and sound. Many professional artists around the world have looked to Mesa Boogie for there touring and sound needs.
This bass amp combo is a very clever idea. They have taken a the idea of a combo and made it portable for the gigging or recording/session musician. This amp is a combo amp first and then you have the ability to take the amp head out of the combo and carry it along anywhere you go. This makes it easy for someone to use the head for a house PA system or a somewhere where the cabinet is provided and all you ned o bring is the portable head. Plus at 300 watts of power you will get plenty of enough power to play in most situations.

SOUNDS
The tone of this amp is remarkable as well. I have always been a huge fan of Mesa Boogie guitar amps but one day I discovered their bass line and I was hooked. They have an exceptionally voicing and toned bass heads that will fit in to any style of music imaginable.
The tone from this head is just as fine as any carbine head Mesa makes. I especially like the tone you get with a Fender Jazz bass guitar. Something just clicks perfectly with that combo and that bass guitar that makes you feel good about your gear. You'll get no gas for anything else with this combination.
OVERALL OPINION
At new these combos come in at around $1499, which is a little on the high side for a small bass combo. I assure you though this is a keeper of an amp. Plus the ability to make it portable and leave the cab is a hug plus.
I would recommend this this to any bass player who needs a great versatile bass amp that can go anywhere and also stay with you in the house jamming along to a simple one 12 inch speaker.
