    Avis Mackie Thump 15

Mackie Thump TH-15A is a powerful speaker that is light and can be used anywhere , and still get you a powerful sound.
What I like most about this product is the 300-watt class-D amplifier, and a 1" compression driver powered by a 100-watt class-A amplifier and also the phase-accurate electronic crossovers, time-aligned transducers, and digitally tuned EQ filters allow a high quality sound regarding the frequency vibration.
What I like about this product as well is the fact that this product is portable , easy to carry it anywhere if you're a traveling artist or singer.
I must mention the 400 watts of pure punchy power , a complex and great 15-inch high-precision woofer , a single XLR input , a great design that assures durability and a great look , 3 bends of parametric EQ with different mid frequency , 1-inch compression driver and a pole mountable.

My opinion about the value of price is satisfying , this product can be bought on amazon or ebay for around 350 $ , however the quality provided , the design that is extremely well made , is worth the money and even more.

Precision and quality of the sound is very pro , no matter in which range the speakers work , they do sound very rich and good , without any additional noise or bass trembling , and in the low register it sounds even better.

I've tried several models that are available on the market right now , however I always loved a high quality product that isn't expensive , it's movable , light , well designed, and this is exactly what I've been looking.

Knowing what I know , I would buy this product over and over again , mainly because of it's frequency response and light weight.

There really aren’t many negative things you can say about the TH 15A by Mackie. It’s a really affordable speaker and it is also very loud. All of your live sounds will sound amazing coming through the TH 15A’s. If you have some live piano’s or live strings and want that sound to carry then you need to get your hands on the TH 15A. It has a built in EQ so you can change the parameters of the speakers right on the spot to fit the environment that they are going to be used it so you will always be able to get the best possible performance out of the TH 15A’s no matter where you are using them at. The bass and low end of the Th 15A really surprised me by how thick and full it is but at the same time its not muddy at all. I have seen several live shows using it, and I have even used it on a bunch of different music genre’s for my sets and not matter what I threw at it, it handled it like a pro (with a little eq tweaking). I do not personally own them anymore, but I do still use them all the time and if you are looking to purchase a the TH 15A then I definitely say yes to them, they are heavy duty and will last you a long time and provide you with a loud bright and full sound to your audience. The TH 15A has 1 XLR in put and 1 XLR output, and it only weights about 40 pounds maybe less so it can be handled by just one person without needing much help if any at all. You can also mount to a pole or use it as a floor monitor. 400 Watts and a very tough exterior that can take a beating. You can not go wrong with this monitor.

I purchased the Mackie Thmp 15A’s a while ago so I can make the switch to active lightweight speakers instead the heavy passive ones. I currently DJ a small restaurant/lounge with an average of 50-80 people and gave these a run with some hip-hop and dance music. These speakers are light, and the sound quality that comes out of these is quite impressive. I was truly surprised how clean it was for such a low-cost speaker, I will note that the noise people described was there at low volumes, but not as much as I expected. Turn up the volume, and you'll be fine. That's what they're for. Bass response was great, and the highs were clear. They were able to get the party started. The bad- Very little head room. The Thumps run out of gas and redlined at much lower volume than I anticipated. My confidence in them was lower when I saw that they were clipping so early. I don't think they made it past 95db before I noticed the red light blinking. I needed to keep adjusting the EQ on the amps to try and keep them protected. Bottom line is great sound, but not nearly as much to keep me confident in their reliability if I needed more out of them. Needless to say I returned them and upgraded to the Mackie SRM-450v2, which I have pushed far past what I gave the Thumps and have yet to see them break a sweat. After 3 gigs with them I am still amazed an happy with them. The 12" SRM-450v2's seem to have better bass response than the Thump 15". If you are looking to do very small events, house parties, or booth speaker then the Thumps are definitely your speaker. I highly recommend these for djing small venues and or small crowds.
