Publié le 07/09/15 à 17:33je l'ai possédé pendant plusieurs années (à l'époque ou j'avais des oreilles en carton et le matos qui allait avec).
Maintenant, c'est sûr que je ne reprendrais pas cette pédale.
C'est pas un super équalo à utiliser en permanence, pour ça il vaut mieux avoir une bonne tête d'ampli ou un préamp embarqué.
ca peut être utile couplé à un autre effet, pour booster les mediums ou les aigus, en bref pour rattraper un effet qui dénature le son ou pour le faire ressortir.

y'a qu'à voir les plages de fréquences inscrites, l'actuelle pédale d'EQ ne joue plus sur ces mêmes fréquences... & c'est vraiment très très dommage!!!

config ultra simple, c'est visuel: des mini potards à monter/descendre selon l'intensité que l'on veut faire transmettre à l'EQ
les plages de fréquences sont les bonnes si l'on est un bassiste qui veut d'un vrai spectre travaillé, pas d'un simple bass/treble à la..."bip"
QUALITÉ SONORE
les fréquences répondent du tac-ô-tac, ce qui permet d'avancer rapidement & sans manuel dans le réglage de cet EQ
la mienne fait un souffle donc attention au potard de volume hein...…

bon, vous l'aurez deviné, le "+" de cette pédale pour moi, ce sont les plages de fréquences que je trouvent plus significatives pour modeler un vrai son bien complet par rapport aux autres EQ du marché (jeune ou vieillot)
je referais le choix de cette pédale sans soucis

I don't have the manual for the Boss GE-7B, but it really isn't necessary as it is simple in make up and use.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound of the Boss GE-7B is more than adequate and provides more than enough control over your sound. While this has a good inherent tone, its all about how you want to use it and what you want to do with it. It has the ability to add to your bass guitar sound on the stage and in the studio, but I would really only recommend it for live shows. I love the sounds I get from this pedal when I plug in my Fender P-Bass into it and always feel that I get the most out of this pedal.
OVERALL OPINION

If match this against the guitar version or the Boss GE-7 then you see a lot of the same sliders but with different numbers above each. The bands have center frequencies at 62Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz and 4Khz. Just like its brother the Boss Ge-7, this pedal will decrease or increase 15 db of volume to your overall bass guitar.

It boosts the right amount of frequencies and gives the added volume for driving your bass amp a little more. You can definitely get a good boost and a little bit of overdrive to you bass tone if desired. This is great for recording or playing live where a clean bass tone is dull and boring.
This pedal works for any amp and any guitar. It is nice addition to a bass player who has found his or her tone and needs to take it a step further. This pedal will make jumping that next hurdle in your tone. Some older bass amps don't get too dirty in the overdrive section. This will allow you to get a little bit of dirt on your tone so that you can drive the rhythm section a little better than before.
OVERALL OPINION
These pedals were discontinued back in 1995. You can find them on the used market but there are newer pedals that work just as good.If you use a bass amp that has a the right tone but you are lacking in certain frequencies then this is a great pedal to have
