Je me sépare de cette Stratocaster Player 2 (Mexicaine) de couleur "Transparent Mocha Burst" que j’ai upgradée en montant une plaque de micros Fender Texas Special (SSS) Custom Shop (USA). Cette guitare est ultra agréable à jouer en raison de son poids (3kg), de son manche au profil « modern C » (radius 9,5) et enfin de cet excellent kit de micros (et son électronique) qui rend justice à sa lutherie. Le corps est en acajou chambré, d’où son poids limité, ce qui lui confère une certaine rondeur bien contrebalancée par ces micros dynamiques et précis (ce sont ceux qui équipent les modèles CS Mark Knopfler, par exemple). Cette guitare est parfaitement réglée, montée en 10-46 (action : 1,50 mm Mi grave ; 1,25 mm Mi aigu en 12e frette), vibrato flottant. Elle est dans un état proche du neuf : achetée neuve courant 2025 plus de 800€. Le pickguard de micros pré-câblés Texas Special acheté neuf également vaut 300€. Les factures sont disponibles. Pour info complémentaire, je ne dispose plus de la boîte figurant sur les photos, ni de l’ancien pickguard avec les micros d’origine. Pas d’échange. Remise en main propre privilégiée mais une expédition peut être envisageable.
