La G2622T est une semi-hollow double cut avec Bigsby, pensée comme une alternative accessible aux ES-335 mais avec une vraie personnalité Gretsch. Son corps en érable laminé avec bloc central limite le larsen, tandis que ses micros Broad’Tron offrent un son plus moderne et polyvalent que les Gretsch vintage, avec des aigus clairs et des médiums légèrement creusés.
