The Harmony H66 is a hollow body electric guitar that has twenty frets and is made out of maple wood. It is an interesting instrument because it has a built in vibrato effect in addition to the standard volume and tone knobs. It has two pick ups and has a switch to choose between the two of them.

UTILIZATION

Playing the Harmony H66 is pretty easy but I do find that sometimes the action is a little bit high up for my taste. However, all of the parameters are pretty easy to access and to understand what everything can do. The guitar is pretty light and the overall shape of the body is pretty cool looking. Granted that you can play, getting a good sound from this guitar is a pretty easy thing to do as it has a really cool and interesting sound to it.

SOUNDS

The Harmony H66 is a great guitar for jazz and lighter music, although I've also had success with indie rock and pop as well. I use the guitar for recording usually with either a '76 Fender Twin Reverb or a Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb and the sounds I can achieve with this guitar are really cool and pretty unique. It definitely has the classic sound you think of when you think of a hollow body guitar, but because of all of the different parameters you can get a wide array of different tones. A huge plus with the Harmony H66 is the built in vibrato effect which turns this guitar from a good guitar into a great one.

OVERALL OPINION

I first used the Harmony H66 hollow body electric guitar for recording about a year and a half ago and it has become one of my favorite hollow body guitars for recording and all other applications. These guitars are pretty hard to find now and I'm lucky to have access to one as it is truly a great guitar. If you are looking for a nice hollow body guitar I would encourage those interested to check out this guitar in addition some of the other hollow body guitar that Harmony and their competitors have to offer.

UTILISATION

Jouer l'harmonie H66 est assez facile mais je ne trouve que parfois l'action est un peu haut à mon goût. Cependant, tous les paramètres sont assez faciles d'accès et de comprendre ce que tout ce que peut faire. La guitare est assez léger et la forme générale du corps est assez cool. En admettant que vous pouvez jouer, faire un bon son de cette guitare est une chose assez facile à faire car il a un son vraiment cool et intéressant pour elle.

SONORITÉS

Le H66 Harmony est une grande guitare pour le jazz et la musique légère, même si j'ai également eu du succès avec le rock indie et pop. This is an American made guitar. It's a hollow-body with an interesting electronic vibrato installed on it. It has 20 frets, two single coil pickups (with a volume knob and tone control for each), a maple body with a cutaway, and an ebony fingerboard.

UTILIZATION

This guitar is really comfortable to play. It feels really good, with a rich and resonant body. Getting a nice sound should be as easy as playing the guitar. It's not the heaviest hollow-body but it is noticeably heavy, I guess the tremolo installed in the guitar adds some weight to it. It's got an action that's pretty high but overall it's fine.

SOUNDS

I love using this guitar with just about any amp. It doesn't really sound good distorted, as it feeds back and has too smooth a tone to really cut through the noise. I'd rather use it with a clean tube amp like a Fender Twin, a Hughes and Kettner tube amp or something like a Matchless. It has a rich, smooth tone that's really fat when you need it to be, but also can be bright and clean. I personally think all the old Harmony guitars sound fantastic.
This is even before talking about the built-in vibrato. While I'll be the first to admit it's not the most amazing vibrato effect I've come across the fact that it comes from the guitar itself means that it is unique, and no pedal could truly replicate it. It expands the sound options you get by a lot.
It is great for jazz and stuff of that nature but with the added vibrato its great for classic pop, old school rock and roll, and a bunch of other stuff as well. It's such a well-rounded instrument that it'll really be a unique addition to almost any collection.

OVERALL OPINION

The best thing about this guitar besides its incredible sound is the built in vibrato effect. I can't stress how cool that is. I think that finding one of these nowadays is going to be tough, and if you do find one it'll probably cost you a pretty penny. It'd be worth it though as it's a really cool and great-sounding guitar. I've played a lot of guitars but none quite like this. I'd say get this if you can.

UTILISATION

Cette guitare est vraiment confortable à jouer. Il se sent vraiment bon, avec un corps riche et résonnant. Obtenir un joli son devrait être aussi facile que jouer de la guitare. Ce n'est pas le plus lourd à corps creux, mais il est sensiblement lourd, je suppose que le trémolo installé dans la guitare ajoute un peu de poids à elle. Il possède une action qui est assez élevé, mais globalement c'est très bien.

SONORITÉS

J'aime utiliser cette guitare avec n'importe quel ampli. Il n'a pas vraiment un bon son déformée, comme il se nourrit en arrière et a trop lisse d'un ton vraiment coupé par le bruit. Je préfère l'utiliser avec un ampli tube propre comme un Fender Twin, un ampli à lampes Hughes et Kettner ou quelque chose comme une Matchless. Il a un son riche et lisse qui est vraiment la graisse lorsque vous avez besoin c'est d'être, mais peut aussi être propre et lumineux. Je pense personnellement que toutes les guitares Harmony vieille sonore fantastique.
Ceci est encore avant de parler du vibrato intégré. Alors je vais être le premier à admettre qu'il n'est pas l'effet de vibrato plus étonnant que j'ai rencontré le fait qu'il provient de la guitare elle-même signifie qu'elle est unique, et pas de pédale pouvait vraiment le reproduire. Il élargit les options sonores que vous obtenez en un lot.
Il est grand pour le jazz et des trucs de ce genre, mais avec le vibrato ajouté sa grand pop classique, old school rock and roll, et un tas d'autres trucs aussi. C'est un tel instrument bien arrondi que ça va vraiment être un ajout unique à presque n'importe quelle collection.

La meilleure chose à propos de cette guitare en plus de ses incroyables sons est construit dans l'effet vibrato. Je ne peux pas souligner à quel point cool que c'est. Je pense que trouver un d'eux est aujourd'hui va être dur, et si vous ne trouver un qu'il va probablement vous coûter une somme rondelette. Ce serait en vaut la peine même si, comme c'est une guitare vraiment cool et de grande qualité sonore. J'ai joué beaucoup de guitares, mais aucun tout à fait comme cela.
