One thing I love about the Fender Stratocaster guitar is it's perfect balance and beautiful soulful tone. It has a very classic sound that you've probably heard on most pop and rock albums throughout the years. It's a basic guitar but yet it doesn't need a whole lot of updates because of it's almost perfect original production. These are very fun guitars and they have a solid sound for most music.

I love the tone of these guitars primarily because they fit well in most musical styles. Where you play pop rock, or even metal you can get away with this guitar and most settings. It does have 3 single coil pickups so it's not going to get a really beefy tone that you would get out of a humbucker pick up. These pickups are pretty thin comparatively to any type of humbug for pick up. So do you think beefy tone is nothing to be easy to get out of this instrument. But it will get you a great classic sustaining classic voicing for pretty much any style of music. These guitar sit well with Fender amplifiers as well as Marshall amplifier some pretty much any thing that you have. Whatever amplifier or effects pedals you have this guitar is going to bring the best hot of the equipment possible.
OVERALL OPINION
At new you can find these guitars for right around $1000 or so which is a pretty good price for an American built guitar. They're easy to find in the used section of many forms and online classifieds. Pretty much any musical retailer will carry Fender Stratocaster because they're the most iconic and probably most used guitar in existence. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a great classic sound any versatile instrument for any style of music.
