I had no problems with installing Apple Quicktime Pro 7, as it came installed when I got my Apple Mac Book Pro. It has always run smoothly and easily for me, without any issues whatsoever. I use it to play videos on my computer and occasionally to play music. It works great for both of these tasks, as the interface is easy to follow and it always runs smoothly. I don't have a manual for Quicktime Pro 7, but it is easy enough to use that you shouldn't really need it if you don't have one.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I am currently running Apple Quicktime Pro 7 on a Mac Book Pro that has a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM. I have also run this software on a Hewlett Packard dv8000 lap top, and with both machines I have never had any issues running this. I never really need to run more than a video or a song at a time, but if I did I have no doubts that I would be able to accomplish these tasks effectively and easily.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using Apple Quicktime Pro 7 for about five years and have never had any issues with it at all. While this isn't my primary audio player, as I use Apple iTunes for that, this is my primary video player in terms of playing AVI or other video files on my computer. There are certainly other media and video player options out there that will do a good job for you, Apple Quicktime Pro 7 works great in itself and I have never seen a reason to use anything else. While it isn't free like some other players, there are a ton of extra capabilities you get with Quicktime Pro that you won't get elsewhere. Overall, this is an easy to use piece of software that is powerful and quite useful.
