Bon, allez, on va pas se laisser abattre par la comparaison non? Enfin, c'est ce que certains potes me disent.

Si vous avez 3'50'', passez écouter mon dernier morceau: "I SO MUCH DON'T CARE" et donnez-moi votre avis ;-)

Ta chanson est en place .
Mais bon elle ne sonne pas du tout comme du Muse ou Coldplay :non:

Je dirai même qu'elle ne sonne pas rock du tout .

Ca a effectivement un son à la Obispo, ouai les 10 commandements un truc comme ca , surtout ta voix utilisée comme organe de comédie musicale .

Alors ton accent est à couper au couteau, c'est sûr :D:

Voilà excuse moi si ca te vexe mais j'ai été franc .

Et puis ... :clin: C'est pas mon style, alors subjectif .

Obispo, Vladimir Cosma! On ne m'avait pas fait de tels compliments depuis longtemps :oo: . Je tiens le jackpot les gars; tant pis pour l'accent! Si qqn veut chanter à ma place ou m'écrire des paroles en français, je suis preneur...

Bon pour le Muse et Coldplay, j'abuse un peu c'est vrai :D :non: Mais tirez pas sur le pianiste, même si ça ressemble plus à de la pop ordinaire qu'au pop-rock tendance du moment.

Disons que le piano donne une touche variété plus que pop ou rock.
peut etre qu'en gardant la meme grille d'accord et le meme chant mais en mettant des arrangemetns aeriens bourrés d'effets et de compression, ça fera peut etre plus cold play.
Muse ya quand meme un sacré chanteur et des chansons qui arrachent meme si ils ont de lapop plus douce.

Ce piano du premier couplet m'ennuye aussi... J'attends le passage d'un copain guitariste pour le remplacer par qqch de moins simpliste. Bien sûr, Muse, pour la compo, la voix et tout et tout, c'est euh, différent ;-)

Effectivement, ca fait ni Coldplay, et encore moins Muse.
Le son est pas top mais on s'en fout pour juger une chanson...
Pour l'accent, c'est pas top en effet, mais rien d'horrible...
Ca me fait plus penser à Brian Adams ou même Elton John dans une certaine période...
Pour le style Obispo, je pense qu'on voulait plus se moquer de toi, mais c'est raté, car ca n'a rien à voir avec du Obispo, que ce soit la mélodie, ou les arrangements...

Bref, moi je te conseillerai d'arrêter l'english aussi...

I don't understand why you guys are so uptight about my french accent... For sure I haven't got a british accent. For sure, I have some french accent. But I work in english since... 10 years, lived in the US for a while, never have a problem to be understood (I do not need to repeat my sentences several times), I read english novels, and watch all my favorite TV shows in english, no subtitle, while browsing on the Internet, still understanding the jokes and everything.

There must be something specific in this song that I pronounce incorrectly. I will ask my colleagues to find out where the flaw is.

The funny thing, is that I have shared my music around for years, and the damn french accent has never been a problem for english speakers, nor for french speakers.

So there must be something special in this community (or in this specific song as I wrote before)...

Anyway I am glad to hear all your comments - it shows me I have to be more careful about my accent. I will work on that, promised.

Regarding Obispo, of course I am not that clueless ;-) Not so hard to see the guy was trying to make fun of me :D Wasn't it clear that I was also making fun of his unnecessary harshness?

Please, keep coming with more comments. I need to do better. And, no, I will not givup singing in english, because that's what comes naturally for me. Maybe I will sing a few songs in french too, but as stated before, I have a hard time with the lyrics in french. If anybody can help, that would be more than welcome ;-)

Ce sera mieux en tout cas pour toi, si tu as envie que ça ne sonne pas français qui ne fait aucun effort d'accent.

Pour les textes en français, fais toi une cure de brel, ferré, noir des, dionysos,bashung etc,
evite en effet de faire des textes direct comme c'est fait en anglais car ça sonne effectivement mal comme ça peut se voir dans la varieté.
Mais c'st vrai que si tu n'as pas cette culture, c'est difficile ...
