For me whats missing are the 8 outs. Other then that I think there is more then enough features to make some music with out more sample time.

UTILIZATION
So far I hate the MIDI settings I still cant get it. Other then that as long as you have the manuel and someone to give you some advice when you get stuck the 2000xl is pretty stright forward.
SOUNDS
Quality of the sound was clearner then my EPS-16+ but "dirtier " then my computer.
OVERALL OPINION
No repairs. This thing is a tank.
I love it. A solid piece of equipment that holds down my home studio.
