Based on the Digital Leslie circuitry pioneered on the best-selling Hammond “Sk” Stage Keyboards, the Leslie “G” Pedal has a smaller footprint to facilitate an easier fit into guitarist’s pedal-boards, while retaining many of the features of the popular original pedal, and at a lower price.
The “G” features three classic hot-rodded cabinet styles for the player to choose-Models122, 147, and the 18v (the Leslie model designation of the original vibratone single rotary speaker). A rotary pot allows the simultaneous adjustment of the rise and fall times (or “ramp”) of the virtual upper & lower rotors. Distance of the virtual microphone is optimized for each cabinet’s model, as is the “mix” of upper and lower levels. Overdrive is also optimized for each cabinet selected.
New to the “G” Leslie Pedal, are “Dry” and “Wet” controls. Adjustment of the “Wet” determines the volume of the effected sound sent to the output, while the “Dry” permits the straight or unaffected sound of the guitar or instrument attached and blended with the effected tone, when more clarity is desired.
A “Red Line” control, provides precise adjustment of the overall “fast” speed of the virtual rotors. A further new function allows the user to store a preset of their-own design, recalled by the cabinet selector.
Two stomp switches are provided, one toggles the effect on/off, with the other controlling the slow/fast speed of the Leslie effect. When the effect is “off” the input is true bypass. The input jack is ¼” TRS, accepting mono or stereo signal with left and right stereo output jacks.
