Two Rock is an amplifier company based out of California that builds high end quality amps for touring professionals an the forum guys who need to blow money likes its their job. These amps are not amps that are at your local Guitar Center or Sam Ash. These amps are extremely expensive and hard to find. They have have an variety of different amps to choose from and this one is more aimed at the middle of the road in price and flexibility. If your middle of the road is around $2500+ for the amp.
This amp is rated at 35 watts of power and carries the 6L6 powers tubes installed. This amp though it says gain master is not a gain master of high gain proportion but rather an clean amp manufacturer going a little more towards the rock side of amps. Two Rock is known for their clean amps and not really for high gain amps. This one gets a little juicy but nothing even remotely close to a Mesa Boogie or a Marshall. This is the same exact amp as the black standad tolex but just i a blinde tolex covering. You get the same great tone, flexibility and features as the other version.

SOUNDS
This amp sounds great with just about any guitar you throw at it. One thing to be known is that whatever guitar you use, a Two Rock amplifier will bring out the best and the worst in your guitar and your playing. These amps are very transparent and will reveal the known great qualities and problems within your guitar. So say you play it with a $99 Squire guitar. The amp will still sing but it will show how incapable that guitar is for quality tone. Next if you have a good Suhr guitar then this amp will just blossom and your guitar will mix very well with it.
This amp with the 6L6 power tubes will be more on the cleaner headroom side of the tone. Where you would get more of a crunch and mid-range boost with El34's you get a rounder more encompassing tone that is more fuller in the top and bottom of the frequency spectrum.
OVERALL OPINION
At new these amps come in right at around $2699. That is a pretty penny for a single channel amp, but there is no up charge for this blonde tolex covering. They do sound good but that is a pretty hefty price for what you get. I would recommend playing a Two Rock amp if you can find one to see if you like the style of the amp. These amps turn over quite a bit because of their way to show how good of a player you are or how bad of one you are.
