This sucker is loud! Coming in at 100 watts with a 1x12 speaker this thing is going to knock you over. But at 17 lbs is won't break your back. Very light weight but very loud.

I'm not a fan of amp modeling of any kind. I can't stand Axe FX and they are supposed to be the best in the business. So I'm just not a fan of the feel and tone. However, I don't look at these amps as anything but practice amps.

SOUNDS

One thing Fender is known for is having probably the best clean tones on the planet. hey don't excel at high gain tones in any way. So I'm lean towards the cleaner side of the options for this amp. Actually most of the amp modeling is done for the 60's fender amps. They take up most of the room on the amp modeling.

I would suggest playing a Fender Strat or Tele with this amp since most of the sounds are on the cleaner towards bluesier side of rock music. You can use a SuperStrat, Les Paul, or another humbucking style guitar and switch it over to the British Steal amp modeling and you can guess what that is modeled off of. This sounds the best in my opinion of the dirtier channels.

Another good sounding model is the Tight Metal preset which sounds a bit more beef and thicker. More for the chugga chugga style playing.

OVERALL OPINION

It comes with software that you can put on computer and play along with MP3 but also to edit all the preset that are on the amplifier. So if you hook it up via USB and you can edit all you amps features via the computer screen which shows the look of the amp it is modeled off of.

I would recommend this to any player who wants to use a practice amp and needs to have all amps and all effects in one convenient unit. At new they come in at around $300.
