This amp is just tone for days. I cannot think of of a better amp that Vox could have made when this thing was released. This amp was everything you loved and wanted out of the old JMI amps from the early 60's These I believe are the last of a great tradition in quality and in tone.

The great thing about this amp is that it has a familiar British flavor but vastly different from the British sounds of a Marshall or a Hiwatt. The grind from this amp is very unique and voiced much like a Fender Twin, but deeper tonally and much darker than a Fender Twin.

UTILIZATION

The operation is unique to this amp as well. It doesn't look anything like a Marshall or a Hiwatt front panels. The gain control knob is the Cut knob. This is where you get the gain from the amp but you have to get the power section working hard to get any kind of distortion from the amp. This means you have to blast the hell out of this amp to get it to sustain. Which won't sounds very pleasing to any neighbors you may have living next door to you. If you want to get that Brian May tone then I would recommend getting an attenuator so you can crank that volume up to get a power tube distortion. There really isn't much if any preamp distortion at all with the amp.

SOUNDS

If this is the sound that you are going for then there really is not anything better out there. There haven't been too many clone amps of the Vox Ac30 so you are quite limited in trying to obtain that vintage sound from the 60's. This amp is as coase to the original I believe that Vox has done in the last 20 years.

I used this with a Fender Strat and a Les Paul. Each one of those guitars gave a very usable and tasty flavor. For the clean stuff the Strat was optimum and for throwing an overdrive pedal in front the Les Paul gave a solid warm and rich vintage tone. However, the best operation I found was my personal favorite: a Electro Harmonics Big Muff in front with a Fender Strat. This combination gave me a great 60's tone that was so enjoyable to play.

OVERALL OPINION

If you are going for a particular tone then the Vox isn't going to be it. If you are going for a Vox or Brian May tone then there is only one way to go. You will need to get a JMI/ Jennings Music Industries Vox AC0 amp. This amp has a unique tone which is only Vox. These I believe were made in the 90's and the last great Ac30 made before Vox switching manufacturing to China.

I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for that Vox tone or any music or record engineer who needs a good arsenal or tones. You can't make a Marshall sound like this amp and you can't make this amp sound like a Marshall.

Cet ampli est juste ton pour jour. Je ne peux pas penser à un meilleur ampli Vox aurait pu faire lorsque cette chose a été libéré. Cet ampli a été tout ce que tu aimais et je voulais sortir de l'ampère JMI anciens du début des années 60, je crois que ces sont les derniers d'une grande tradition de qualité et de ton.

La grande chose au sujet de cet ampli est qu'il a une saveur familière britannique, mais très différents des sons britanniques d'un Marshall ou un Hiwatt. La mouture de cette ampli est très unique et a exprimé un peu comme un Fender Twin, mais plus profond et beaucoup plus sombre tonalité d'un Fender Twin.

UTILISATION

L'opération est unique à cet ampli ainsi. Il ne ressemblait en rien un Marshall ou un Hiwatt panneaux avant. Le bouton de commande de gain est le bouton Couper. C'est là que vous obtenez le gain de l'ampli, mais vous devez obtenir la section de puissance travaille dur pour obtenir toute sorte de distorsion de l'ampli. Cela signifie que vous avez à coup l'enfer hors de cet ampli pour le faire soutenir. Qui ne seront pas des sons très agréables à tous les voisins que vous pourriez avoir de vie à côté de vous. Si vous souhaitez obtenir cette tonalité de Brian May, alors je vous recommande de prendre un atténuateur de sorte que vous pouvez mettre en marche ce volume jusqu'à obtenir une distorsion du tube d'alimentation. Il n'ya vraiment pas beaucoup si aucune distorsion préampli du tout avec l'ampli.

SONORITÉS

Si ce n'est le bruit que vous allez car alors il n'ya vraiment rien de mieux là-bas. Il n'a pas été Ampère clone trop grand nombre de Vox AC30 si vous êtes assez limité pour essayer d'obtenir ce son vintage des années 60. Cet ampli est aussi Coase à l'original, je crois que Vox a fait dans les 20 dernières années.

J'ai utilisé ce avec une Fender Strat et une Les Paul. Chacune de ces guitares ont une saveur très utilisable et savoureux. Pour les trucs nettoyer le démarrage a été optimale et pour avoir jeté une pédale d'overdrive en face de la Les Paul a donné un solide tonalité chaude et riche millésime. Cependant, la meilleure opération que j'ai trouvé était mon préféré: un Muff Electro Harmonics Big devant avec une Fender Strat. Cette combinaison m'a donné une grande 60, le ton qui était si agréable à jouer.

AVIS GLOBAL

Si vous allez pour une tonalité particulière alors le Vox ne va pas être ça. Si vous allez pour un ton Vox ou Brian May, alors il n'y a qu'un seul chemin à parcourir. Vous aurez besoin d'obtenir une JMI / Jennings Musique Industries Vox AC0 ampères. Cet ampli a un ton unique qui n'est Vox. Ces je crois ont été faites dans les années 90 et le dernier grand AC30 Vox faite avant commutation de fabrication en Chine.

Je recommanderais cet ampli pour ceux qui cherchent ce ton Vox ou tout ingénieur ou d'enregistrer la musique qui a besoin d'un bon arsenal ou les tons. Vous ne pouvez pas faire un bruit, comme cet ampli Marshall et vous ne pouvez pas faire cela comme un ampli Marshall.
