Le studio La Boîte à Meuh vend un ampli Dynacord Imperator 280€. C’est un ampli pour basse guitare ou orgue, fabriqué de 1970 à 1974 en Allemagne. Configuration inhabituelle avec le préampli à transistors et la puissance à lampes : 1 ECC81 et 2 EL34. Les EL34 sont les lampes de puissance utilisées dans les Marshall entre autres. Ampli au son droit, assez sec, dynamique, d’une puissance de 50W (2 EL34); certains mentionnent une puissance de 80W. Les 160 VA de consommation max annoncés laissent en effet supposer que l’ampli fait 80W. Conçu pour rester un maximum en son clair, on peut arriver à le faire « driver »en poussant le volume. Le drive est alors assez musical, pas gras ou fuzzy. L’ampli fonctionne parfaitement. Le studio possède de nombreux autres amplis pour guitare, basse ou les deux, Ampeg, Marshall, Carlsbro vintage, Fender, Vox, David Eden, Gallien Krueger, etc (voir liste du backline ici) et celui-ci fait double emploi.
