Messieurs bonjour,

Je dois faire la mise à jour de ma DM24 en version 3.0. J'ai donc téléchargé sur le site Tascam les fichiers. Je me retrouve donc avec 5 fichiers, mais je flippe un peu de ne pas les lire dans l'ordre.

Ma question est donc la suivante: y'a-t-il un ordre de passage des fichiers midi, et si oui le connaissez vous?

Merci d'avance, et désolé pour le dérangement si ma question est peu (ou pas) intéressante, mais ça m'ennuierait de tout crasher pour une mise à jour... :boire:

Salut,
les fichiers midi sont dans l'ordre quand tu les telecharge. il faut donc les lire dans l'ordre alphabetique.

Pour les prochains: les fichiers NE DOIVENT PAS être lus dans l'ordre alphabétique. La procédure est sur le site Tascam US.

En ce qui me concerne, j'ai (peut être) crashé ma console, donc j'ai une autre question: quelle est la marche à suivre quand la console refuse l'update parce que les fichiers n'ont pas été lus dans l'ordre? Chez Tascam, ils disent juste que c'est grave, mais ils donnent pas d'infos supplémentaires, donc si y'a eu des gens dans mon cas, je suis preneur.


PS: Je veux bien des réponses convenables, cette fois, pas des suppositions qui grillent un soft.

Demande a tous les util€isateurs de la tascam en version 3.0 qui on fait la mise a jour (y comprfis moi...) ils te diront la meme chose.. tu n'est pas le premirs poser cette questions. moi meme je me la suis posée quand j'ai mis ma console a jours! et ta pa de question a te poser tu peu me faire confiance

On a peut être pas le même alphabet...

Ceci dit, ça a marché quand même, la solution étant de réinitialiser la console entre chaque fichiers, et si ça ne marche pas de retenter... Ca a pris un moment mais à l'usure ça fonctionne.

Comme quoi, il faut TOUJOURS lire les modes d'emplois ... heureusement ici cela se termine bien !

This procedure takes approximately 45 minutes.
Open WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and go to TOOLS-OPTIONS-FORMATS.
3. You should see the screen in the example above. Make sure MIDI file is checked and click OK.
4. On the DM-24 press SHIFT+OPTIONS
5. Press the soft key below where you see PREFERENCES on the LCD.
6. Use the cursor keys to point to VERSION INFO and press ENTER. You will see a list of different files.
Make note of the current version shown.
7. On the DM-24 press SHIFT+MIDI/MC then press the soft key below where you see BULK on the
LCD.
8. Use the cursor keys to move the pointer to Program Version Update-READY and press ENTER.
9. You should see a screen similar to this one. The DM-24 is now waiting to see the incoming MIDI file.
10. In Windows Media Player click FILE-OPEN.
11. The files you need are in the “DM updates” folder on your desktop.
12. The files must be loaded one at a time in a specific order. The first
file you want to load is “Flash.mid.” Double click on it or click OPEN. Widows Media Player will immediately start playing the
file.
13. The DM-24 MIDI FILE DUMP screen should now show you the name of the file it is receiving and the
packet column should show data movement.
14. When the file transfer is complete, the DM-24 screen will show “SOFTWARE DATA RECEIVE
COMPLETE! DO YOU EXECUTE ROM WRITE? PRESS ENTER TO CONFIRM, OR A CURSOR
KEY TO CANCLE.”
15. Press ENTER on the DM-24. The DM-24 will think for a moment and then reboot back to the BULK
screen again.
16. Now repeat these steps to load the next six files. Some files will take 30 seconds to load while others
will take 15 minutes. These files must be loaded in the following order or damage will be done to your
DM-24’s EPROMs and the DM-24 will be unusable.

4. preset.mid
5. diag.mid
6. start.mid
7. panel.mid
17. Once these files have been loaded, press SHIFT+OPTION on the DM-24.
18. Press the soft key below where you see PREFERENCES on the LCD.
19. Use the cursor keys to point to VERSION INFO and press ENTER. You will see a list of different
files. All of them should be labeled with the upgraded version you just loaded. If not, you will need go
through the procedure again.
20. Once finished, you will need to initialize your DM-24. Please see the end of this document for that
procedure.
INITIALIZATION PROCESS
1. With the power OFF hold down the 2nd F button (far left of the board), the HIGH button (just
above in the EQ section) and the – button (just to the right in the LIBRARY section) while you turn
the power ON.
2. The DM-24 will boot to DIAGNOSTIC MODE. As soon as you see DIAGNOSTIC MODE on the
display you may release the 2nd F, HIGH and – buttons.
3. Use the “Down cursor key” to move the indicator to SRAM INIT (NOT SRAM INIT for factory
TEST) and press ENTER.
4. Press ENTER again to confirm when prompted. A check mark will appear in the box next to
SRAM INIT on the display.
5. Use the “Down cursor key” to move the indicator to FLASH INFORMATION CLEAR and press
ENTER.
6. Press ENTER again to confirm when prompted. A check mark will appear in the box next to
FLASH INFORMATION CLEAR on the display.
7. Use the “Down cursor key” to move the indicator to EXIT and press ENTER. This will reset the
DM-24 back to the original factory settings and the DM-24 will reboot.
