From Dream to Reality!

Originally conceived in a dream and brought to reality by the Fender Custom Shop, the first “Telemaster-style” electric guitars were ordered by Make’n Music. This unique Jazzmaster / Telecaster Hybrid design has become a true classic – coveted by offset lovers everywhere. Last year Fender granted our wish to bring this traditionally “Custom Shop only” offering to USA production at a more player friendly price point. This year we are excited to offer a second generation of the Limited Edition Offset Telecaster with updated American Professional Series specifications, custom electronics and additional colors. We couldn’t be happier with how they turned out.

American Professional Features and Custom Shop Upgrades

The Limited Edition Fender Offset Telecaster combines a distinctive look with extraordinary features for versatile tone and playability. The pickups include a Custom Shop Broadcaster model in the bridge position which has been artfully paired with a wide range-style Shawbucker in the neck position. Custom electronics with a dual 500k/250k Master Volume control ensure that each pickup retains its crisp, clear and articulate sound, while a discreetly mounted S1 switch in the Master Tone control splits the neck pickup for your choice of humbucking or single coil sounds. Use the 3-way pickup selector to achieve everything from raunchy Tele spank and twang to sparkling, almost acoustic-like clean tones. The neck is a very comfortable modern “Deep C” profile with a 9.5” radius and 22 narrow-tall frets for easier bending. What appears to be a typical strings through the body American Vintage Telecaster bridge is actually hot-rodded with 3 compensated American Professional Brass Saddles for improved intonation across all 6 strings.
