The TC Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6 is a 2 in and 4 out firewire interface that has a built in preamp and comes with recording software. I have used the Konnekt 6 with other software though; you do not have to use the software that comes with it if you do not want to. You could run into some compatibility issues using it with your own software but there are ways to get it to work. My problem was that I was having some driver issues between the interface, Acid Pro and my computer. But after I uninstalled everything then reinstalled and didn’t load the software that came with the Konnekt 6 everything worked fine from that point on.

UTILIZATION

This interface comes with Cubase LE which is a great software to work with, if you are a beginner it will be a great software to start with and this interface is very user friendly. It has low latency drivers and can be used on a Mac and PC. It is also compatible with ASIO drivers which are pretty much a must have right now for any one making music from a personal computer at home (ASIO drivers are free).

GETTING STARTED

This interface comes with M40 Studio reverb by a company called AlgoFlex, I have never used this reverb because I tend to use my own plug ins for my reverb, but I would imagine that it would be a pretty standard reverb since it is free and comes with the Konnekt 6 interface.

OVERALL OPINION

This interface is built very well for it to be under 200 dollars. It comes with everything you need right out of the box to start recording and that is a huge bonus. I have not experienced anything bad with this interface but I have heard some bad things using it with Windows 7. I do not have Windows 7 to test it with, if you are thinking of purchasing this and you have Windows 7 you should do some research first.

J'ai utilisé le 6 Konnekt avec d'autres logiciels si, vous n'avez pas à utiliser le logiciel qui vient avec elle si vous ne voulez pas. Vous pourriez rencontrer des problèmes de compatibilité de l'utiliser avec votre propre logiciel, mais il ya des façons de le faire fonctionner. Mon problème est que j'ai eu quelques problèmes de pilote entre l'interface, Pro acides et mon ordinateur. Mais après tout ce que j'ai désinstallé puis réinstallé et ne pas charger le logiciel fourni avec la Konnekt 6 tout a bien fonctionné à partir de là.

UTILISATION

Cette interface est livré avec Cubase LE qui est un logiciel génial de travailler avec, si vous êtes un débutant, il sera un excellent logiciel pour commencer et cette interface est très conviviale. Il dispose de pilotes à faible latence et peut être utilisé sur un Mac et un PC. Il est également compatible avec les pilotes ASIO qui sont à peu près un must have en ce moment pour l'une quelconque de la musique à partir d'un ordinateur personnel à la maison (pilotes ASIO sont gratuits).

MISE EN OEUVRE

Cette interface est livré avec M40 réverbération de studio par une compagnie appelée AlgoFlex, je n'ai jamais utilisé cette réverbération parce que j'ai tendance à utiliser mon propre plug-ins pour mon réverbération, mais j'imagine que ce serait une réverbération assez standard, car il est gratuit et avec la Konnekt 6 interface.

AVIS GLOBAL

Cette interface est très bien construit pour qu'il soit inférieur à 200 dollars. Il est livré avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin dès la sortie de la boîte pour démarrer l'enregistrement et c'est un énorme bonus. Je n'ai pas vécu quelque chose de mal avec cette interface, mais j'ai entendu quelques mauvaises choses qui l'utilisent avec Windows 7. Je n'ai pas de Windows 7 pour le tester, si vous envisagez d'acheter ceci et vous avez Windows 7, vous devriez faire quelques recherches en premier.
