Un looper de 52 secondes est égale­ment présent ainsi qu’une drum machine embarquant 40 rythmes pré-enre­gis­trés et 10 rythmes de métro­nome diffé­rents.  doté d’une entrée auxi­liaire pour jouer par-dessus un play­back. On trouve aussi une sortie casque permet­tant de travailler silen­cieu­se­ment et toutes les sorties sont program­mables pour une inté­gra­tion opti­male.Le panneau de contrôle de ce multi-effets semble assez intui­tif, on y retrouve les diffé­rents blocs person­na­li­sables, du modèle d’am­pli au type de réver­bé­ra­tion. Chaque effet peut être déplacé à souhait dans la chaîne audio. Doté d’une pédale d’ex­pres­sion, le Gem Box III intègre des wah-wah, des pédales de volume, et de nombreux para­mètres d’ef­fets peuvent être contrô­lés via cette pédale. On trouve sur le panneau arrière du multi-effets, une sortie stéréo sur XLR et une sortie stéréo sur jack, dont le canal gauche sert de sortie mono. On remarque une entrée pour une seconde pédale d’ex­pres­sion au format jack ainsi qu’un port USB. En effet, le Gem Box III intègre des fonc­tions d’in­ter­face audio et peut servir à l’en­re­gis­tre­ment sur ordi­na­teur. Le port USB permet aussi de main­te­nir l’ap­pa­reil à jour et d’y char­ger la dernière version du firm­ware. Dernière fonc­tion du port USB, et pas des moindres, l’im­port de réponses d’im­pul­sion ; il est en effet possible de profi­ter des 26 modé­li­sa­tions de baffles présentes dans l’ap­pa­reil et d’im­por­ter ses propres réponses d’im­pul­sion en format WAV à 16, 24 ou 32 bits.
