I've been using them for one year. I use them every day. One day, I forgot to close my window with the CDX right underneath it. When I came back home I almost passed out. I turned it upside down and water came dripping out of everywhere. I wiped it dry really good (inside too), powered them on and they still worked perfectly. Numark is tough!
I tried a Technics ELZ 1200 and I didn't like it at all. Really bad!! Technics makes good turntables but forget all their other products!
I used my CDX for scratching demos and the people were especially interested in the XR8K system!
Before buying them, I tried out the following products:
- Numark HDX (simulation is too soft)
- Pioneer CDJ100 (the worst product I've ever had)
- Pioneer CDJ1000 (good)
- Reloop 909S (awful)
- Numark axis 4 (not good enough)
- Numark axis 9 (scratching is more important for me)
- Denon S5000 (not convincing)
- Other gear like JB System (forget it)
Incredible value for money.
I recommend it to everyone who wants to buy a good DC deck for mixing and scratching!
