The Yamaha SK20 is a classic analog synth with a lot of sounds from the late 70’s into the early and mid 80’s. The bad thing about this board is that over time they start to have some serious issues that can come about. I learned this first hand after purchasing one of them on eBay when I was looking for some vintage sounds to blend in with my current music. So I came across this board and purchased one, it only had some small scrapes and scuffs on it and that didn’t concern me at all because the board is like 30 years old so I expected it to have some scratches. But what did concern me was with the noise in some of the sliders. For some reason over time this boards have like a “short” or something of that nature to them because when moving the sliders you will hear like a fuzz sound. Now this fuzz sound wont record if you are recording into a mixer or external gear but it can be annoying when every time you slide a slider you hear a bunch of fuzzing sounding feedback.

UTILIZATION

The Yamaha SK 20 couldn’t be easier to use, there are no navigation and everything is right on the main face of the board. That is one of the best things about vintage gear, they really didn’t make it to hard to use.

SOUNDS

The sounds are great, very vintage and warm. It was exactly what I was looking for , im glad that I got to purchase one of these.

OVERALL OPINION

They are online now and they are very affordable. Just try to find one in the best possible condition and hope you don’t get the fuzz sounding sliders. But if you do get one with that problem its not that big of a deal. The sound only happens when you slide, not when you play the notes. So if you can get past that you will be ok.

Le SK20 est un synthé Yamaha analogique classique avec beaucoup de sons de la fin des années 70 dans le début et au milieu des années 80. La mauvaise chose à propos de cette carte est que le temps, ils commencent à avoir de sérieux problèmes qui peuvent survenir. J'ai appris cela de première main après l'achat de l'un d'eux sur eBay quand je cherchais des sons vintage de se fondre dans ma musique actuelle. Donc, je suis tombé sur ce forum et a acheté un, il n'y avait quelques égratignures et les éraflures sur les petits il et qui ne me concerne pas du tout parce que le conseil est comme 30 ans, alors je m'attendais à ce qu'il ont quelques égratignures. Mais ce qui préoccupe m'a fait était avec le bruit dans quelques-uns des curseurs. Pour une raison quelconque au fil du temps ce conseils ont comme un "court" ou quelque chose de cette nature pour eux, car lorsque vous déplacez les curseurs que vous allez entendre comme un son fuzz. Or, cette habitude d'enregistrer son fuzz si vous enregistrez dans un mélangeur ou d'engins externe, mais il peut être ennuyeux quand chaque fois que vous faites glisser un curseur que vous entendez un groupe de fuzzing rétroaction sonore.

UTILISATION

Le SK Yamaha 20 pourrait ne pas être plus facile à utiliser, il n'y a pas de navigation et tout est à droite sur la face principale du conseil d'administration. C'est l'une des meilleures choses à propos du matériel vintage, on n'avait vraiment pas faire de mal à utiliser.

SONORITÉS

Les sons sont excellents, très vintage et chaleureux. C'était exactement ce que je cherchais, im heureux que je suis arrivé à acheter un de ces.

AVIS GLOBAL

Ils sont désormais en ligne et ils sont très abordables. Juste essayer de trouver un dans le meilleur état possible et j'espère que vous ne recevez pas le duvet sonner curseurs. Mais si vous obtenez un avec ce problème n'est pas que grand d'une affaire. Le son ne se produit que lorsque vous faites glisser, pas quand vous jouez les notes. Donc, si vous pouvez aller au-delà que vous serez ok.
