Mais qu'avait Marshall en tête quand il a conçu cet ampli ? Comment est-il possible de concevoir un ampli tout lampe qui sonne moins bien que le premier des amplis transistors premier prix ? comment cette erreur de parcours est-elle possible de la part de ce constructeur mythique qui a définitivement marqué l'histoire du Rock ? le mystère demeure...

Cet ampli a un son clair plutôt quelconque, une reverb sans âme et un canal saturé désolant. Malgré quelques heures à tourner la question, ainsi que les boutons, dans tous les sens, rien n'est arrivé à me faire changer d'opinion. Les avis du web, souvent anglophones, sont sans appel, voire "limite limite". Le MA100H est le vilain petit canard de chez Marshall. Alors comment ? il semblerait être une tentative de vouloir construire un tout lampe à prix défiant toute concurrence. Fabrication délocalisé en Asie, a-t-il pâtit de composants bas de gamme ? d'une conception de circuits priorisant l'économie ? je l'ignore. Quoi qu'il en soit, tout effort pour en sortir quelque chose qui ressemblerait au son Marshall est vaine. Ceci est bien triste pour les possesseurs de cette tête de 100 W. qui heureusement ne semblent pas très nombreux, la fabrication ayant rapidement cessée. Pour ceux qui recherchent une tête pas chère de cette marque, orientez-vous plutôt sur une MG100HDFX, vous en aurez plus pour bien moins cher.
Désolé, il n'y a pas grand chose à ajouter.
Reste que Marshall a construit beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup de fabuleuses choses, des amplis qui nous font vibrer encore et toujours, alors on peut lui pardonner aisément ce flop qui reste, malgré tout, assez discret...Lire moins120

(contenu en anglais)Marshall is one of those companies that has gone down hill real quick. They are a business so I understand to make profits but there has to be some mistake with amps like these. If my name was Jim Marshall i would be embarrassed to put out garbage like this. This amp though having a vale tube section in both the preamp and the power amp still sound terrible. It has a squeal obnoxious sound that is just flat out irritating.

SOUNDS
This amp have two independent channels for for a clean and crunch and then one for the high gain side. Both channels to me sound sterile and out of touch. It sounds as if something slapped tubes in it but they aren't connected to anything they just light up and glow but not within the circuit. This amp just gives no feel and no soul to your guitar's tone what so ever.
I would try this amp out with a good Gibson Les Paul guitar. Something that connects with a Gibson Les Paul and a Marshall amp no matter what series amp it it. Something just seems to fit perfectly between the two brands. The gain channel is ok at best. There isn't really a sound that makes you wanna jump out of your seat in cheer. It is a below average tone that really doesn't get going to well. The clean channel is just more of the same. You don't felling get the sense that there has been too much work put into designing a classic tone of any kind. It just feels out of place.
OVERALL OPINION
You can find these amps for right at around $ 799. That price may be a convincing price only if you have never heard this amp. This amp is really bad and i do not suggest picking it up. For this price you can get a Marshall JCm2000 DSL 100 for less than this price and that is much better amp. You get way more girth and tone and versatility. I would not recommend this amp to anyone, there is no convincing aspect that makes me want this amp at all.22- iamqman

Publié le 18/08/11 à 23:26 (contenu en anglais)Marshall MG 100 amplifier is a cheaper version of some of the other amplifiers and Marshall has done before. This is an all tube amplifier but it really doesn't sound like a tube amplifier in my opinion. It doesn't have the fell or punch enemies to lexi amplifier. This just doesn't have feel the touch in the dynamics and I'm used to in pretty much every other Marshall amplifier I've ever played before. To me this thing is just plain garbage and the price you're asking for is not exactly what I would have in mind when it comes to the tone voicing this amplifier.

SOUNDS
It does have some decent modern features such as the balance controls on the overdrive channel as well as the presences control for the power section. This allows you better dial in the voicing in tone of your sound you're looking for. This is a two channel amp that has for pop EL34 power tubes in it. You also get a spring reverb and a serial FX loop and it's all controlled via this foot switch that is included with you.
The Thomas amp is not that special and it just does have that martial quality I like to hear have the amps that I've played from Marshall. Doesn't feel the dynamics or anything associated with any other Marshall amplifier I've ever played. I just feel like this amplifier is a terrible representation of what Marshall stands for. It just doesn't have that feeling tell him that I like to hear.
OVERALL OPINION
It doesn't really matter what are you playing this amplifier with it just doesn't sound natural or authentic. At new these amplifiers come in at around $799 which is a little over priced for what you get my opinion. Peavey has such a better amplifier for this same so I would go with the Peavey amplifier over this such as a 5151 6505 amplifiers from Peavey. Those are much better sounding and much more usable than this amplifiers.21
