This is a small, practice combo amp. It is only 5 watts but it gets surprisingly loud for an amp of its size and wattage. There aren't much in the way of controls, there are simply volume (gain), master volume, and treble and bass knobs. It has one 1/4" input, and it has the ability to be connected to a larger external speaker via a 1/4" speaker cable.

UTILIZATION

This is an amp for a very particular type of sound. Don't expect to find effects on this amp, it's a pure-sounding amp if ever there was one. The sounds that you can get out of this thing are only as versatile as the electric guitar you are using. The manual explains next to nothing, as there's nothing to really explain, just some troubleshooting and warnings.

SOUNDS

As I said previously, this amp is only about as versatile as the guitar you use it with. The sound that you can get ranges from a smooth clean tone to a warm overdrive. I find more often than not that the best way for me to play it is to crank the volume as much as I can (in order to get a good overdrive tone), and set the master volume at the appropriate level. Then I roll back the volume on my guitar to get a nice clean tone when I need it. I think that this tone would be ideal for anyone looking to practice, as effects and distortions are not needed for practice. Beyond just practicing, the tones sound good for blues and lighter rock styles of playing, as well as country and folk-rock styles. Anything heavier than the MC5 would probably not work very well with this amp, unless you are adding your own pedals.

OVERALL OPINION

I like the fact that this amp is not one that I constantly have to adjust. More often than not, it responds to the way that I play my instrument. It also highlights the flaws in my playing, which makes it great for practice and not for playing live. It might not be a great practice amp for beginners, as the flaw-highlighting qualities that I just mentioned will discourage newbies. People who are constantly trying to improve will be satisfied with this amp. It's not too heavily priced, and it sounds pretty good. It's better than most practice amps I've encountered. Highly recommended.

Ceci est un petit ampli combo pratique. Il est à seulement 5 watts mais il obtient étonnamment bruyant pour un ampli de cette taille et de puissance. Il n'ya pas beaucoup de la manière de contrôles, il ya simplement le volume (gain), master volume, des aigus et des basses et des boutons. Il a un 1 / 4 "d'entrée, et il a la capacité d'être connecté à un plus grand haut-parleur externe via un 1 / 4" câble haut-parleur.

UTILISATION

C'est un ampli pour un type très particulier de son. Ne vous attendez pas à trouver les effets sur cet ampli, c'est un ampli pure résonance si jamais il y avait un. Les sons que vous pouvez sortir de cette chose ne sont aussi polyvalent que la guitare électrique que vous utilisez. Le manuel explique presque rien, car il n'y a rien à expliquer vraiment, juste quelques dépannage et les avertissements.

SONORITÉS

Comme je l'ai dit précédemment, cet ampli est seulement environ aussi polyvalent que la guitare vous l'utilisez avec. Le son que vous pouvez obtenir varie de un ton et lisse à un overdrive chaleureux. Je trouve plus souvent que la meilleure façon pour moi de jouer est de faire tourner le volume autant que je peux (en vue d'obtenir une tonalité overdrive bon), et régler le volume principal au niveau approprié. Puis-je faire reculer le volume sur ma guitare pour obtenir un ton agréable et très propre quand j'en ai besoin. Je pense que ce ton serait idéal pour ceux qui cherchent à pratiquer, comme les effets et les distorsions ne sont pas nécessaires pour la pratique. Au-delà de simplement pratiquer, les tonalités sonnent bien pour le blues et styles de rock plus léger du jeu, ainsi que des styles country et le folk-rock. Tout ce lourd que le MC5 ne fonctionnerait probablement pas très bien avec cet ampli, sauf si vous ajoutez vos pédales.

AVIS GLOBAL

J'aime le fait que cet ampli n'est pas celui que je dois constamment ajuster. Plus souvent qu'autrement, il répond à la façon dont je joue mon instrument. Il souligne également les failles dans mon jeu, ce qui le rend idéal pour la pratique et non pas pour jouer en live. Il pourrait ne pas être un ampli grande pratique pour les débutants, comme les qualités faille-en soulignant que je viens de mentionner va décourager les débutants. Les gens qui tentent constamment d'améliorer serez satisfaits de cet ampli. Ce n'est pas trop cher, et ça sonne plutôt bien. C'est mieux que la plupart des ampères la pratique que j'ai rencontrés. Hautement recommandé.
