I am a 27-year-old trapped in a 60-something-year-old’s body, and I would like to play more with other people. I am nearly retired, so I have time during the day now. I am Irish, and my French is still pretty basic after living in France for 20 years. Sorry.

20 years ago, the band I played with in Ireland played folk-inspired rock music, e.g., Tim Buckley, Dolphins; Tim Hardin, If I Were A Carpenter, and mostly played finger-style rhythm acoustic guitar. Nowadays, the other band I play with in Avignon plays soul-inspired power pop music, e.g., Elvis Costello (I Don’t Want To Go To), Chelsea: Smokie Robinson, Ain’t That Peculiar, and I am playing mostly rhythm and riffs on electric guitar with a pick. I am happy to play either and other genres besides, and I am looking for people to play with who are closer to home, i.e., 69160 Tassin. Ideally, a rhythm section (acoustic drums and electric bass) with another singer and a keyboard player who likes the sound of a Hammond B3!
